ORDERING.PAYMENT OPTIONS:
It's easy to an order with vintage faerie. We offer three ordering methods: our secure website, mail, or fax to our studio. Vintage Faerie accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. If you wish to fax or mail your order to us, print our Order Form to fax or mail to our Studio. We do accept personal checks, and reserve the right to wait for your check to clear before shipping any merchandise. All checks returned for insufficient funds are subject to a $35 fee.

The item(s) you are purchasing from Vintage Faerie Studio are custom crafted, by hand, just for you! Since our items are crafted when you place your order and include custom options such as personal engravings, personal stampings, custom-fit size, stone settings, semi-precious and vintage or rare bead selections, as well as so much more, your credit/debit card will be charged when you place your order. If you are unwilling to have your credit/debit card charged when your order is placed, nor can wait possibly 8 weeks for your order to ship, please reconsider your purchase. Since we do not cast our items, nor outsource our products for manufacturing overseas, but lovingly craft each and every piece by hand, orders take time to create and fulfill. For additional information regarding how long orders take to ship, make sure to review the ORDERING PRODUCTION TIMEFRAMES section. Please consider these factors before placing your order.

After you place your order online, you will receive an automated email confirming that your order has been received. Please make sure to check your spam filters, junk mail filters, and understand that many ISP (Internet Service Providers) are now preventing emails from reaching inboxes in efforts to control spam. Those that use AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo and Comcast emails are more inclined to have heightened spam protection and may not receive our emails. Please make sure to add our domain, VintageFaerie.com to your allowed domains list under your email spam filter options. We cannot be responsible for emails/electronic correspondence that do not reach customers, including order confirmation and shipping emails.

Although rare, Vintage Faerie Studio reserves the right to cancel any order at any time. If your order is canceled, we will make sure you are notified. Reasons for order cancellation include, but are not limited to, declined credit card/failed credit card authorization, checks returned for insufficient funds, custom information and/or photos not received, as well as abusive behavior.

ORDERING PRODUCTION TIMEFRAMES:
When ordering from Vintage Faerie Studio, it is important to understand that much of the jewelry on the market that claims to be handmade is usually casted, or mass produced. This means the original piece was made by hand, but a mold was made and therefore any number of the original piece may be reproduced quite easily, without much involvement from the original artist. Some even choose to ship their products overseas for inexpensive manufacturing, removing the handcrafted, as well as US crafted, elements entirely.

Vintage Faerie has chosen to not cast their jewelry, but to create each piece lovingly, and many times painstakingly, by hand. After many years creating handcrafted pieces, Vintage Faerie has chosen to remain a smaller studio where personal attention to each detail comes first. Because of this, please allow us time to create your piece in the Vintage Faerie high quality custom. To meet our increasing studio demands, while offering truly handcrafted pieces, orders require 4-6 weeks for order completion. However at times of high volume, please allow us up to 8 weeks to ship your order.

We understand the inconveniences waiting for your order may cause. In a world where everyone is used to instant gratification and mass-produced goods, it is difficult for some to understand, and appreciate, the uniqueness, and time required, of truly handcrafted items. We hope that you are able to understand and appreciate that waiting for your items from a US crafted small studio is actually part of a time-honored crafting process.

CUSTOM ORDERS:
If placing a custom charm or pendant order, please review the Custom Photo Charm and Pendant Webpage for detailed information. We do ask that you try to follow the requirements for submitting custom photos such as resolution and file naming. These requirements are extremely important to ensure photo charm quality and quick order processing.

If placing a custom jewelry order, please review the specific details of each piece which is located in the item’s description. Make sure to note custom character limitations and wrist vs. bangle measurement information.

SHIPPING:
We ship all throughout the world! However, WE DO NOT SHIP TO P.O. BOXES due to the increased risk of credit card fraud. All orders are shipped via United States Post Office (USPS), Priority Mail (2-4 days, US or 6-10 days, International). When your package ships, you will receive an automated USPS.com email containing a tracking number**. However, with most situations, USPS does not always update their tracking information online. When tracking your package online you may only receive a generic message that states the package has not been received for shipping. Please allow adequate time for your package to arrive before contacting us. It is not uncommon for packages shipped Priority Mail to take up to 10 days to arrive, especially around Holidays.

Shipping to Canada is a flat-rate of $11.95.
Packages cannot be tracked and cannot be insured against theft, loss and/or damages.

Shipping to countries outside the United States and Canada are a flat-rate of $13.95.
Packages cannot be tracked and cannot be insured against theft, loss and/or damages.

*A note regarding International Shipping: Unfortunately we cannot not declare International packages as gifts, samples, or lower the total declared package value. Doing so is considered ILLEGAL; it’s considered fraud and puts our company at serious risk. Because of this, your Country’s Customs may charge you additional fees in order to pick up your package. The additional Customs charges are not incurred from Vintage Faerie, nor do we receive any percentage of the Customs fees. We will not accept any responsibly for Customs charges incurred by the destination Country. We encourage you to review additional information at the link below, and at your Country’s Post Office. Also keep in mind all packages are insured against lost, theft and damage. We must declare the amount of what is in the package in order to purchase insurance.

HANDCRAFTED JEWELRY CARE:
Vintage Photo Charms, Pendant & Ornaments.Custom Photo Charms:
Each vintage faerie photo charm is made entirely by hand, so please allow for such distinctions. Even though we take great care to ensure your photo charm will last for more than a lifetime, we do ask that you treat your charm with loving care. Over time, the charm’s bright silver metal frame will naturally "antique". If you wish to keep your photo charm’s frame silver bright then we suggest using a polishing cloth to remove tarnish and for overall cleaning of your piece. If your piece has significant “antiquing”, try using a fine steel wool to remove the dark gray patina, followed by a polishing cloth. Vintage faerie strongly advises against submerging your photo jewelry charms in water, or any liquid/paste substance for potential damage may occur. Polish dips, liquids, or pastes are not advised and should not be used.

With simple care, your vintage faerie photo charm is sure to bring wishes and magic for years to come.

Jewelry:
Much of our handcrafted jewelry has been oxidized, or antiqued, to add depth to our pieces. For this reason we recommend that you avoid polish creams, dips, and/or liquids for they easily remove oxidation. Many of the semi-precious and precious stones and beads that we use cannot be exposed to strong polishing materials as well. Therefore we recommend that you use mild soap and water* to clean your pieces and a high quality polishing cloth for occasional tarnish removal. Also keep in mind the more a piece is worn, the less the piece becomes tarnished.

Never expose your Vintage Faerie jewelry pieces to harsh chemicals, such as cleaning products, bleach, chlorine, etc.

*pieces containing silk, linen, cotton or leather should avoid exposure to water.

RETURNS.REPAIRS:
Since each item is individually handcrafted, Vintage Faerie will not accept returns for any customized item, regardless of customization. We will however accept returns for non-customized items within 10 days of merchandise receipt providing the item(s) is returned in its original condition, unworn and undamaged. We ask that you extend the courtesy of notifying us before you make a return. Merchandise refunds will be honored when item(s) are received, minus original shipping costs and a 5% restocking/return fee, using the same payment method originally used to purchase item(s).

If a repair or restringing is desired, please contact us for assistance. Repairs usually require 4-6 weeks and a nominal repair/restringing fee may be applied.

Vintage Faerie Studio is located in the Philadelphia metro area, United States. Our studio hours are Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm, Eastern Standard Time (EST).

We love and appreciate your emails! However, please keep in mind being a smaller studio that crafts everything by hand, increased production demands (such as Holidays) and the amount of emails we receive, we at times may not be able to respond to emails immediately. We expect Vintage Faerie customers to familiarize themselves with our production timeframes and shipping information. Vintage Faerie offers wholesale pricing to valid stores and artists. We require an initial minimum order and annual minimum reorder amounts to obtain wholesale pricing. We do however offer a unique option for those who would like to carry our custom line of handcrafted items, such as photo charms/pendants.
